Subtraction worksheets

Clean subtraction practice with results that never dip below zero, from single-digit differences to multi-digit columns. Answer key included on its own page.

The generator keeps every running difference non-negative, so early learners never meet a negative number by accident. Pick single digits for fact practice or push the width up for column-subtraction drills.

Print two copies of the same sheet for a fair race, or reseed for a fresh sheet of identical difficulty — the seed is what changes the problems, the settings are what change the level.

Sheet #1000. The same settings and number always produce the same sheet, so you can reprint an identical paper — or press New sheet for fresh problems at the same difficulty.

Questions

Do the problems ever go negative?
No. The generator constrains every difference to stay at or above zero, which is what early-primary subtraction practice needs.
Can I get the same sheet twice?
Yes — the same settings and the same seed always produce the identical sheet, which is how you print a class set that matches.
