2-digit addition worksheets

The classic column-addition stage: two-digit sums, carrying included, laid out in print-friendly columns with an answer key page.

Two-digit addition is where place value starts doing real work — tens and ones land in their own columns and carrying appears. The problems here are drawn across the full 10–99 range, so regrouping shows up naturally rather than on every line.

Set three or four rows to stretch stronger students: multi-addend columns are the bridge to the running mental sums that abacus students train.

Sheet #1000. The same settings and number always produce the same sheet, so you can reprint an identical paper — or press New sheet for fresh problems at the same difficulty.

Questions

Do the sheets include regrouping (carrying)?
Yes, naturally — operands are drawn across the whole two-digit range, so some problems carry and some do not, exactly the mix that tests whether the method is understood.
How many problems fit on a sheet?
Ten to sixty, your choice; at thirty problems and five columns everything fits on one A4 page with room to work.
